Almost every person entering our shelter program requires good, warm (or
cool) clothes. Often times our guests arrive with only the clothes on their back.
We are also able to give our guests household items when they move into their
own homes. We rely totally on donations from the community for this service.  We
keep items on site for emergency situations and refer to other helping agencies
for longer-term solutions.

On-going needs include:
Blankets
Sheets for single beds
Towels
Wash Cloths
New underwear for men, women and children
Socks

Personal hygiene products such as:
Soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant,
disposable razors, toothbrush/toothpaste, etc.

Cleaning supplies such as:
Pine cleaner, bleach, glass cleaner, bathroom cleaner,
Dawn dishwashing liquid, paper towels

Food items including:
Rice, assorted pasta, vegetable oil, self-rising flour,
self-rising cornmeal, dried beans (pinto, black-eyed peas, etc.)
spices, mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup,
fresh fruit and veggies (in season), powdered milk, coffee,
creamer, sugar, cereal (hot or cold), quick grits....

And as always, financial donations are necessary to keep the doors open.  Please
mail your donation to:  PO Box 5217, Statesville, NC  28687 or use the convenient
PayPal option on the side.  Please indicate in the memo what your gift is to be
used for (i.e., general fund, capital campaign, My Sister's House, Soup Kitchen,
endowment, etc.)

Our ability to provide our guests with necessities is only possible because of a
giving, caring community!
Thank you,  thank you, thank you!!!
