The clinic building was built primarily by volunteers, headed up by Gerald Grant, Grady Lippard and Wayne Rogers, thus the name of the building – “The Grant-Lippard-Rogers Building.” Currently a capital campaign continues to raise funds pay for the new facility that was built by G.L. Wilson Building Company, the same company that constructed My Sister’s House in 2002. Current services of Fifth Street Ministries include an Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing, Night Shelter, Soup Kitchen, Battered Women's Shelter (My Sister's House), a healthcare component, and a thrift store. We strive to carry out its meaning as we work to address the needs of the impoverished, the hungry, the abused, the homeless, and those without health insurance. Our doors are open to anyone who is in need of our services. |
